Beeswax
Bees wax is a natural wax produced by honey bees. Worker bees collect this wax and use it to form cells for the storage of honey and larval and pupal protection within the beehive. After harvesting the natural honey we are left with excess wax which we then melt and filter away impurities.
Beeswax has been used for centuries as the first ‘plastic’ , a waterproof agent and a lubricant. These days it’s found in not only food products but also in lip balm, furniture polish and cosmetics.
